I had the incredible opportunity to photograph this amazing family alongside my mentor, Cait Rose, and it was everything I hoped it would be. Instead of forcing poses or perfect smiles, we embraced the chaos and captured the genuine joy of childhood against a stunning backdrop at Alum Creek. Yep, you hear it right... Alum Creek! Who knew Ohio looked this beautiful?
The result? Pure magic. Wild hair from the waters breezes, sandy toes, and authentic laughter that you can practically hear through the photos. These are the moments we all want – the real, unfiltered family life that deserves to be documented.
This session reminded me why I fell in love with photography in the first place – capturing authentic moments that families will treasure forever.
